About Me : Welcome to my profile, Its difficult to describe oneself to the unacquainted, yet I present my abstract. Professionally, I am determined, driven and resilient, having overcome numerous challenges to achieve a quantum of success in life, all while navigating without the guidance of parents. As they say, adversity shapes one's character. My educational journey, though much devoid of parental support, led me to excel and secure a gold medal in Maxillofacial Surgery. I adhere to a disciplined work ethic, and I consider my commitment to never missing a day of work as a form of devotion. Punctuality and dedication are qualities I hold dear as personal achievements. I value self-made people, honesty, trust and family at the highest regard. Accomplishments aside, Im a cheerful and easy-going individual on the inside. Initially, I might appear selectively social, but on having a connect, I can be exuberantly extroverted. I am fortunate to have attended exceptional educational institutions. My schooling was at Bhavans BVM CBSE school, a prestigious institution in Nagpur. I pursued my BDS at VSPM Nagpur and completed my masters- MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. I also gained valuable experience through traineeships at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and GSR Craniofacial Hospital, Hyderabad. Subsequently, Ive been an active participant in various workshops and have chaired conferences. I am deeply passionate about my field of Oral Maxillofacial Head and Neck Surgery and aspire to undertake fellowships and a Ph.D in the near future. My journey from being a gold medallist student to guiding my own students to achieve similar success continues. Currently, I serve as an Associate Professor and PG guide in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery while also working as a visiting consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon at various clinics and hospitals in Nagpur. I am on the cusp of a promotion at the institute in Nagpur and have plans to establish my clinical centre and training institute soon, with the goal of transforming it into a state-of-the-art facility within the next five years. On a personal note, I have envisioned creating a charitable foundation as an ode to my parents' remembrance, aimed to outreach underprivileged orphanages and provide medical assistance to the needy. Our ancestral roots trace back to Uttar Pradesh, where my grandparents migrated before India gained independence. However, I was born and raised in Maharashtra, where I have spent most of my life. Unfortunately, I lost my parents at a young age, but I come from a family that values openness and pragmatism. I have two elder brothers, both happily married and successful in their respective fields. They have served as my role models since a young age. My eldest brother is a microbiologist working as a scientific team lead at a French MNC and is also pursuing an MBA from IIM, Kozhikode. His wife is a Chemical Engineer from IIT, Powai, and they are currently based in Singapore. My second brother is an Advocate who now manages our family business of Bengali Cloth Merchants in Nagpur and Calcutta following our father's untimely passing. His wife is a Botanist turned sabbatical homemaker, and they have a wonderful baby boy. We have our individual homes. Our family is well-known in both Brahmin and Bengali circles in Nagpur. My cousins are highly educated and have accomplished careers, including an IITian- Senior IPS officer who has served as an IG to the Prime Minister, currently serving as an Additional DGP of West Bengal; a Gynecologist, and a Lieutenant Colonel in the army, with others residing in the UK and Canada. Our immediate relatives are like parents to us, and we come together for all occasions, be it celebrations or times of need. Family gatherings for festivals like Diwali, New Year, Rakshabandhan, and birthdays are always joyful occasions. Donning off my white coat, I indulge in an array of leisure activities. While work seldom allowed me to hit the pitch, I am a sports enthusiast and passionately follow cricket, tennis, football, and F1. Whether it's cricket tournaments, grand slams, Champions League, or F1 circuits, I relish being glued to the screen. Though my biking days came to a halt post college, I enjoy driving and embarking on long drives. My deep love for reading avidly aspires me to keep my little home library booming. I find joy in movies, and the latest OTT releases across various genres. I am captivated by the serenity of the wilderness and eager for safaris whenever time permits. Additionally, I aspire to create my home observatory, given my fascination with space. My quest for knowledge and interest in financial stock markets are among my other newer pursuits. I find solace in music and consider it as an emotional experience. My musical tastes span from sympathetic energetic heavy metal to parasympathetic soothing classical melodies. Some of my personal favourites include Metallica, Coldplay, Linkin Park, AR Rehman, Amit Trivedi, AP Dhillon, and many more. I have a passion for travel and have explored nearly all Indian states, often for conferences or family trips. I look forward to visit Singapore and the UK within this year. Though if dreams do come true, mine would be to one day venture beyond Earth's borders, whether on a Blue Origins, Virgin Galactic, or SpaceX space trip. Keeping my feet grounded, my bucket list includes visiting the Kennedy space centre, Sriharikota, relaxing on a remote Caribbean beach, witnessing the beauty of the Swiss Alps, visiting Mount Kailash, experiencing the wilderness of Masaimara, exploring the Pyramids, and admiring the Angkor Wat temples in Cambodia. Additionally, watching a live performance by Coldplay and witnessing Wimbledon from the centre court are high on my list of aspirations. I am an enthusiastic food lover, though this passion sometimes clashes with my fitness goals. From spicy to sweet, my taste buds appreciate all cuisines, with a special fondness for Punjabi and South Indian dishes. I am also a tea connoisseur and am in the process of building a wine cellar at my home. My purpose of being here is to find a life partner who shares my desire to explore the world together someday. For me, marriage encapsulates a profound bond, a commitment forged by two individuals who stand by the vows they make. I seek a partner who shares a similar depth of understanding, personally and professionally, and is prepared to embrace the rollercoasters of life into a fulfilling joyride!
